Alisha Kowtiash

Born and raised in Thunder Bay and proud to be from the Eabametoong First Nation (Fort Hope), Alisha Kowtiash is an Indigenous artist whose work is deeply rooted in the values of family, tradition, and culture. She draws inspiration from the stories, teachings, and lived experiences of her community, weaving them into her creative practice.

Through her business, Spirit of Family Roots, Alisha creates stunning and heartfelt artwork that embodies the strength, resilience, and unity of Indigenous families.
